Heavy Tungsten Alloy Cylinders Diameter 1.0mm to 150mm As Balancing Weights
Tungsten alloy cylinders are the superior product for balancing and weighting cars. Tungsten alloy is 3.2 times heavier than no-lead weighting material often used on cars, thus it enables tremendous flexibility in the design of the car.
Compared with square tungsten bar, tungsten alloy cylinder is more popular because machining and production is easier. It is more easier to take it from the mold after press which means less damage. Moreover, it is more suitable for further machining.
Brief Introduction of Tungsten Heavy Alloy Cylinders:
Code: WHAs
Density: (17.1-18.5) g/cm3
Main Component: W (90-98)% with the addition of nickel and copper or nickel and iron, etc.
Diameter: 1.0mm to 150mm
Length: Max 550mm
Surface Condition: Machined, Ground
Applications of Tungsten Heavy Alloy:
· Balancing weights such as tungsten sinker bar, heavy metal boring bar, vessels crank camshafts, holders for well logging, racing weights, vibration damping and dynamic balancing weights
· Protection shields for nuclear radiation such as PET syringe shield, vial shield, isotope container, FDG container, multi leaf collimator
· Substitutional material for Uranium
· Electroheat upsetting anvil block
· High voltage electrical contact
· Electrodes for Resistance Welding
Advantages of Tungsten Alloy Cylinders:
-Excellent mechanical properties such as high vibration-damping capacity and high Young's modulus.
-High density
-Excellent radiation-shielding property
-High thermal conductivity with low thermal expansion coefficient
